The Benbrook Fire Department provides residents with the highest quality of emergency services possible. Overhanging tree limbs can delay emergency vehicles when seconds make the difference between life and death. These obstructing limbs can also cause costly damage to fire trucks — putting them out of service. Please help the Benbrook Fire Department provide the fastest and safest service possible by being “tree-sponsible” and keeping limbs trimmed back from streets, sidewalks, and alleys. Trees, shrubs, vines, and similar plants must be trimmed to fourteen feet above the ground surface to allow for fire trucks, ambulances, and other service vehicles to pass through safely. All property owners are responsible for their own property maintenance.
