Property Taxes

For tax year 2022 Benbrook maintains a property tax rate of 59.50 cents per $100 valuation. All property taxes are collected by the Tarrant County Tax Assessor/Collector. All property appraisals (including mineral appraisals) are conducted by the Tarrant Appraisal District. The Attorney General of Texas has prepared a "Landowner's Bill of Rights," which outlines the rights of landowners under Texas Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law and discusses the procedures used in these processes.
