FBI agents have secured 9 year-old Benbrook girl, Caitlyn Williams, in Bossier City, Louisiana and she is safe in their custody.

The Amber Alert that was issued early this morning resulted in numerous tips that led officers to a motel room in Bossier City, Louisiana. FBI attempted to take the suspect into custody, but during apprehension shots were fired. An FBI agent was shot and wounded and the suspect is dead.

The agent’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
