[ARCHIVED] Relay for Life is April 26/27

Relay For Life Benbrook 2013 is a fun-filled overnight campout designed to celebrate
cancer survivorship and raise money for cancer research and programs of the
American Cancer Society (ACS).

The event takes place beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26th until 7:00 a.m.
on Saturday, April 27th.

Teams gather at Dutch Branch Park and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to
keep at least one team member on the track at all times to raise money and awareness in support of the American Cancer Society’s lifelong mission.

Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be
forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day, cancer will be eliminated.

Everyone is invited to come out, enjoy fun activities, and support the teams. A Children’s Area, games of chance, raffle drawings, and food will be available for a donation to the American Cancer Society.
