The Benbrook Historical Society’s next quarterly meeting is on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Benbrook Public Library, 1065 Mercedes Street. The Benbrook Historical Society will feature living historian, J. R. Edmondson. His depiction of The "Duke" is an hour-long, one-man theatrical biography of actor John Wayne's life. Edmondson has portrayed John Wayne in a variety of Texas events and fundraisers.
