Benbrook Police and Fire Departments, working with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), announce the “National Take-Back Initiative.” The event will take place Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Benbrook Fire Station, 528 Mercedes Street. This program allows residents to dispose of unused or expired over-the-counter and prescription medications.
Intravenous solutions, injectable medications, and syringes will not be accepted due to potential hazard posed by blood-borne pathogens.
