[ARCHIVED] Recycle Containers Available to Benbrook Residents

The City of Benbrook offers two recycling containers for public use! The green containers are located behind the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA (1899 Winscott Road), and in the parking lot of the City Maintenance Shop, 467 Winscott Road (just outside the fenced area in front of the Animal Shelter).

These containers are available to Benbrook residents who do not have access to curbside recycling service, or who occasionally have more than the usual amount of recyclables. All items that can be recycled at the curb are acceptable. Signage is also affixed to the containers listing acceptable items.

Please be aware that the recycle containers offer only a slot at the front for disposal of items. While this can be time-consuming for disposing of large quantities of items, it is intended to prevent contamination of the container by those dumping bags of regular trash. If you witness someone placing bags at the top, or leaving items alongside the containers, please report it to City Hall at 817-249-3000. Thank you for recycling!
