The City of Benbrook recently received the results of the 2013 citizen survey, conducted by the National Research Center (NRC) in Boulder, Colorado, as part of The National Citizen Survey. The City first participated in the survey in 2007 and participates every two years.
The statistically-valid survey assesses citizen satisfaction with the community and municipal services. Because cities provide similar municipal services, the survey gathers satisfaction data from communities nationwide for comparison and benchmarking purposes.
In essence, citizens across the country are asked similar questions and the results are used to compare service ratings between and among cities. Continued participation in the National Citizen Survey allows city officials to monitors performance and citizen preferences over time.
Benbrook has won numerous “Voice of the People” awards for service delivery, based on past survey results.
For 2013, Benbrook remains a national leader in community satisfaction and municipal service delivery for most services measured. Benbrook ranked #1 nationally in several key satisfaction categories.
