[ARCHIVED] City Accepting Volunteers for My Benbrook Mile Program

The City of Benbrook encourages individuals and groups to participate in the My Benbrook Mile Program. This program allows citizens the opportunity to contribute to a cleaner environment by working together to clean up city roadways and park areas.

Participating groups self-monitor a road or park and plan clean-up events based on the schedules of group members. Groups may plan monthly clean-ups or as the area dictates.

Groups may deposit collected trash and debris (in plastic bags) at the City Maintenance Shop located at 467 Winscott Road. The City can provide trash bags, latex gloves, and reflective safety vests as requested.

Once a My Benbrook Mile location has been determined and the group establishes a commitment to adopt the area, a road sign designating the group is erected in the area.

To determine the appropriate area for your group, or for any questions, please contact Alex Busken at 817-249-6008 or abusken@benbrook-tx.gov.

Thank you for considering participating in the My Benbrook Mile Program.
