Weather permitting, southbound Benbrook Boulevard/U.S. 377 traffic will be switched to two new permanent main lanes from I-20 to Mercedes Street.  In addition to the traffic shift, Benbrook Boulevard/U.S. 377 will be reduced to one through lane and a left turn lane at the Mercedes Street and Winscott Road intersections.  The shift and lane reductions will allow for the construction of the raised curb medians. Substantial completion of the project is estimated for this fall, at which point all main lanes will be open. Alternate routes are advised during the evening rush hour.
