The Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD), as part of an agreement with the City of Benbrook and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has begun construction of new baseball and softball fields to serve Benbrook Middle High School (BMHS). The fields will be located in Dutch Branch Park, north of Creekside/Park Road, and across Benbrook Boulevard/U.S. 377 from BMHS (see map). 

The complex will include baseball and softball playfields, concessions, restrooms, and dressing rooms. The parking lot will also be expanded to provide additional parking.

 The fields will be constructed, used, and maintained by FWISD, and will meet University Interscholastic League (UIL) requirements for high school athletics. 

 The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2019.
