[ARCHIVED] Benbrook COP Director named 2019 Coordinator of the Year!

TCOPA 19

The Benbrook Police Department is proud to announce that Don Pilliod, Director of Benbrook Citizens on Patrol (COP’s), was chosen as 2019 'Coordinator of the Year' for the State of Texas by the Texas Citizens on Patrol Association (TCOPA).

Mr. Pilliod received this prestigious award at the annual TCOPA conference in Round Rock on June 15, 2019.

The conference banquet was highlighted by a personalized video message from Texas Governor Greg Abbott. There were 43 law enforcement agencies represented at the conference, and a Benbrook delegation of supporters in attendance.

The Benbrook COP organization provides hundreds of hours of volunteer service and thousands of miles of patrol to the City of Benbrook each year. Becoming director in 2017, Mr. Pilliod exhibits enthusiasm for the mission of the COP’s, and his leadership has grown the organization in service to Benbrook. Don is considered a well-respected community leader, always putting the needs of others first.

Congratulations, Don Pilliod!
