[ARCHIVED] Benbrook Trash Bash is Sept. 21
- Here’s a great way to show your Benbrook pride: Our 27th annual Trash Bash! We’ll provide T-shirts, give-away items and prizes – YOU provide cheerful assistance helping us tidy up Dutch Branch Park.
- Registration opens at 8:30 a.m., cleanup begins at 9. Open to all ages, and groups definitely are welcome. The park is located behind the Benbrook Community YMCA, 1899 Winscott Road. We will gather at the pavilion located behind the concession stand, in the rear parking lot.
- Volunteers will be assigned to specific areas to pick up litter and debris -- gloves and trash bags will be provided. We'll conclude the event around 11:30 a.m. by serving a free hot dog lunch to our volunteers.
- Advance registration is requested. To register, please call Amanda Valdez, 817-249-6008. We all want to keep Benbrook looking beautiful, and every “litter bit” helps!
