[ARCHIVED] Community Partners Host 2020 Benbrook Business & Community Showcase in March

2020 BCS Logo Final

For the third consecutive year, the Benbrook Area Chamber of Commerce (BACC), the City of Benbrook, and the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) are preparing to showcase local businesses and organizations, connect our community, and bring tons of family fun to the 2020 Benbrook Business & Community Showcase (BCS). This year’s event takes place Thursday, March 5, from 3 – 7pm, at Highridge Church, 10100 Rolling Hills Drive, and promises great food, giveaways, prizes, and exhibits!

“The 2019 event was a fantastic success. We are excited to offer even more for 2020. Our community comes together in so many ways; BCS is another wonderful opportunity to connect with all the businesses and organizations that serve our city.”
~ Teri Davis, BACC President

Admission is FREE! The public is invited to learn more about local goods and services, engage with business owners and service organizations, enter to win prizes, and enjoy delicious food samples from Hoffbrau Steak & Grill House, Smoothie King, Pulidos, Texas Roadhouse, Cookies PLZ, Chicken Express, Mira Vista Country Club, and Pork ‘n Somethin’. Bring the entire family!

New this year! BEDC is hosting a Shop ‘n Drop Benbrook program to coincide with the showcase event. Beginning February 3 (until March 4), shoppers making purchases of at least $10 at Benbrook businesses can bring paper receipts to Benbrook City Hall Visitor’s Center, 911 Winscott Road. Just drop receipts at the Shop ‘n Drop display anytime M-F, 8am -5pm, and become eligible for prize drawings taking place at 6:15pm at the BSC event on March 5. There are three prizes, totaling around $500 each in value, up for grabs. You could win: Apple Watch Series 5 * Deluxe Chef’s Kit * Family Camp Gear.

A popular feature of the evening is the Hometown Pride presentation. This program recognizes Benbrook businesses that have been in operation for 20 years or more. This year, the committee has chosen Family Chiropractic Clinic, 8507 Benbrook Boulevard, in business since 1986, to receive the honors. Hometown Pride recognition occurs at 5pm; please plan to join us!

“BCS is a great way to highlight all that makes our city unique! Join my fellow city council members and myself as we celebrate our business family, and honor the long-standing commitment and investment of one very special Benbrook business at the Hometown Pride presentation.”
~ Mayor Jerry Dittrich
