Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and under order of Tarrant County, Benbrook City Hall has closed, effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020. The closure will continue until April 7, 2020, or as the order is modified by Tarrant County,
During this time, City staff will continue to provide updates here on the city’s website and on social media. City staff will be available to take calls at 817-249-3000 or email info@benbrook-tx.gov.

What you need to know:
Police, fire, ambulance, and other essential services, will continue. For non-emergency dispatch, call 817-249-1610, for Emergencies, dial 911.
Trash and recycling collection services, which are provided by Republic Services, will continue. During this time of heavy collection volume, please remember to bag ALL trash, and to keep regular trash out of recycle bins. Customer Service: 817-332-7301.
Water service, which is managed by the Benbrook Water Authority, will continue.
Animal Control Officers are available, but the public will not be allowed inside the animal shelter. To report a stray animal or other animal issue, please call 817-249-1610.
Benbrook Municipal Court will reschedule all activities planned through April 30, 2020. The Court will send written notices when the new date, time, and location have been set. In addition, all outstanding traffic citation due dates are being extended until April 20, 2020; note that many citations and payments can be handled on the City website.
The City Council meeting scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 2, 2020, will be teleconferenced. Check the agenda for instructions on citizen participation. The meeting will be live broadcast and streamed on Spectrum Cable Channel 190 and on our website.
All City board and commission meetings are canceled until further notice.
