[ARCHIVED] Republic Services to Resume Curbside Collection of Brush, Bulk, and Yard Bags

Republic Services Recycling Crew

Republic Services has announced that, beginning Wednesday, April 22, they will resume residential curbside collection of yard waste bags and small quantities of brush and bulk items.

The brush does not have to be bagged. However, Republic asks that citizens please limit the quantity of brush and bulk items they put out. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company is managing a significantly increased volume of residential trash, which is their primary focus of collection at this time.

In addition to the curbside pickup, Republic Services still has two blue dumpsters located behind the Benbrook Community Center/YMCA, 1890 Winscott Road. Please note that these dumpsters are for brush and yard waste only -- bulk materials will contaminate the load and cannot be accepted.

Citizens who wish to report a missed collection or have other concerns about trash and recycling collection may contact Republic Services at 817-953-7214 or visit their customer support website

The City of Benbrook appreciates the support and patience of our citizen as our waste hauler adjusts to the many current challenges.
