The U.S. Census Bureau, working in coordination with federal, state, and local health officials, has reopened the office located in Tarrant County.
The reopening is part of a planned phased restart of 2020 census field operations in 10 states, including Texas. The Bureau has produced a chart that allows citizens to follow their operations in Texas and throughout the U.S.
The census is required by the Constitution and will determine congressional representation, inform hundreds of billions in federal funding every year, and provide data that will impact communities for the next decade.
