[ARCHIVED] Assistance Available to Benbrook Businesses – ACT NOW!

Tarrant Co Small Biz Grant Program

Tarrant County Small Business Assistance Grants are available to small businesses impacted by required closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Benbrook businesses are eligible to apply, including those that received funds from the Benbrook Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) Disaster Relief Grant Program or from federal programs. However, businesses cannot seek Tarrant County funding to pay for expenses already covered by other assistance programs.

Applications are only available online, and businesses may begin submitting applications at 10 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2020. Cutoff date is 6 p.m. July 1, 2020. Questions related to these grants should be directed to Tarrant Countyas the City of Benbrook is not managing or processing the grants. However, the BEDC, 911 Winscott Road, is acting as an Application Assistance Center, and is available to assist applicants needing to make copies or scans of supporting documents for their online submittal to Tarrant County.

The amount of funds a business receives will be determined by the financial information provided, the number of eligible grant applications received, and the funding pool available, with no grant exceeding $10,000. The program is funded through CARES act dollars allocated to Tarrant County.

For more information and to apply, please visit the Tarrant County website. If you need additional assistance, please email Tarrant County directly at TCSBGrant@tarrantcounty.com.
