[ARCHIVED] Benbrook Offers Three 24-Hour Warming Centers

Trinity Chapel

Currently, we are aware of three 24-hour Warming Centers in Benbrook; Trinity Chapel Bible Church, The Church at Benbrook, and HighRidge Church.

The Church at Benbrook

(817-244-1117), 930 Winscott Road, is open as a Warming Center today, and will be open overnight for people displaced by the current power outages. Please remember to practice social distancing and wear a mask. Pets in crates are allowed.

Trinity Chapel Bible Church, 6610 Southwest Boulevard, is open as a Warming Center as well. Pets are not allowed.

HighRidge Church, 10100 Rolling Hills, is open today (2/17), but will determine if they will extend their hours. Leashed and crated pets allowed.

The City of Benbrook asks that people use one of these three facilities as a Warming Center during the day instead of the Benbrook Fire Station, as they are more spacious and comfortable.

Both locations provide very limited provisions; please bring your own blankets and bedding, food and water, and any medications you may need. Please stay safe!
