Need assistance making essential home repairs? Benbrook homeowners with low-to-moderate incomes may be eligible for Tarrant County’s Homeowner Rehabilitation Program. This program is designed to help struggling homeowners make repairs to their plumbing, roofing, foundation, and more.
Eligibility is based on several factors, including family size and household income (table below). In addition, the home must be valued below $205,000.The Tarrant County Community Development Department administers the program locally. Once eligibility is confirmed, the County will contract with workers to make the authorized repairs. The program is funded through the Community Development Block Grant and the Home Investment Partnership (HOME). Both are programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
