When is the election? What are the hours?
The election is Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Who is permitted to vote in the election?
All persons residing within the City limits of Benbrook who possess a valid Voter Registration Certificate issued by the Tarrant County Election Administrator.
When and where is Early (absentee) Voting?
Early voting by personal appearance will be held at the Benbrook Community Center, (228 San Angelo Ave., Benbrook, TX 76126) and the Tarrant County Main Early Voting Site (2700 Premier St., Fort Worth, TX 76111). Other polling locations are listed on the Tarrant County Election website: TarrantCounty.com/evote.
Monday – Friday, October 18 – 22, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, October 23, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Yes, applications for Ballot by Mail may be downloaded at TarrantCounty.com/Elections and submitted by mail, fax, or email through October 22, 2021, to the following:

What are the requirements to obtain and cast a ballot by mail?
1. Voter is 65 years of age or older on Election Day.
2. Voter is disabled.
For #1 or #2 the ballot must be mailed to the voter registration residence address/mailing address or to a hospital, nursing home/long-term care facility, retirement center or address of a relative. The relationship of the relative must be indicated.
3. Voter is confined in jail – ballot must be mailed to the jail or address of a relative.
- Voter is expected to be absent from the county on Election Day and during hours of regular early voting by personal appearance – Applications must be submitted from outside the county if submitted after early voting by personal appearance has begun. BALLOTS MUST BE MAILED TO AN ADDRESS OUTSIDE THE COUNTY. RETURN BALLOTS MUST BE POST MARKED AND RECEIVED FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTY.

Tarrant County has been designated as a Vote Center. Therefore, Benbrook citizens may vote at any Tarrant County polling place on Election Day and during Early Voting and are not restricted to the voter’s election precinct. Local polling places are listed below:
