PPP1.jpg

The Benbrook Community Gardens, a non-profit volunteer organization, is committed to the art of gardening and educating the community on best garden practices. Benbrook City Council
approved the Benbrook Community Garden, to be located at Timber Creek Park, in support of
this effort.

Construction of the garden is ongoing and expected to be completed for fall 2014 planting.

The Benbrook Community Gardens group would like to incorporate artfully decorated fence
pickets as part of the fencing, structures, and/or visitor areas. YOU CAN HELP...

PAINT A PICKET PROGRAM….4 EASY STEPS:

1. Go to Benbrook City Hall (911 Winscott Road) and pick up a picket (or two, or three...let’s talk).

2. Invite your family, friends, and/or group to paint pickets…..be artistic, be unique, be colorful!
(you provide paint, brushes, and supplies) Incorporate your group name or family name, mascot, club or school colors, etc.

3. Take your painted picket(s) back to City Hall by September 12, 2014.

4. Look for your picket at the Benbrook Community Garden, Timber Creek Park, later in the year!
