The City of Benbrook has phased out the CodeRED/Reverse 911 System and replaced it with the free Know Now app on June 1, 2025. This innovative app will keep residents informed about local emergencies, weather conditions, and public safety issues in real-time. 

The Know NOW app ensures you receive notifications whether you’re at home or traveling. Users can also receive alerts and stay informed about family and friends in the area during emergencies. These instant alerts will come directly to your mobile phone. 

The Know NOW app is live and ready for immediate use, and the setup process is simple and requires only a username, password, and one contact method (either an email address and/or phone number). To ensure residents continue to receive important emergency notifications, download the Know NOW app and select the Benbrook group to follow. For assistance or questions, email jtate@benbrook-tx.gov.
